California's Legistature's 2008 Election Committees

Only one or two on each committee are the same as 2006-2007. Both Assemblymember Mendoza and Senator Calderon, representing Norwalk are on the committees. Norwalk is where Los Angeles's Registrar's headquarters is. I doubt it is a coincident. I hope they chose to join the committees because they want to find out what is going on and help fix it, not to defend Conny.

Also interesting is that Senator Oropeza in on the Senate committee; she is apparently from Debra Bowen's former district.
